So, You Finally Understand Me?

You decided to come back when you finally understood my pain, wishing that everything was the same. Back in 2011, when you first saw me with the brown hair and gold streaks. You told me I was memorizing. Why you keep, bring up the past, reminding me of what we were expected to be. How we met at a gas station, I was with the girl who stoled you away from me. Now you see me in a different light; be honest with me, you don’t like it, I’m not the woman you thought I would be in your fantasy.

I’m not the woman in your fantasy.

Never have I seen a man hold the past, so close to his heart. It’s like without this sacred jewel, everything you wish will never become your reality. I wonder if you would lose hope of who you are, so come to me thinking all is forgiving.

I’m sorry for who I was in the past, I should’ve rode with you, I should have held you down.

I wonder what acid words SHE told you; apparently, the same one you told me? I warned you about her, but you told me everything was okay. You never trusted me and what I saw in my dreams. You know what. God told me the same thing about you, and I decided to ignore my thoughts. I became a fool.

A lesson came and destroyed the tower that was halfway made. What I wish we could be was also a fantasy.
